I believe it is not the hereditary quality of Obama that we should prioritise as being the core of leadership quality, but it is his quality that treats human as human. Race, belief and culture make it colourful to describe a person like Obama. Why must we think of changing from white to black or from rags to riches?
It is not easy to be a leader. And it is not a value that shows in physical form.

Malaysia is a ahead of USA. In fact look at our PMs from Tengku (part Siamese), Razak (part Chinese),Hussein Onn (part Turkish), Mahathir (pure Mamak) to Abdullah (part Chinese)you will see Malays do not discriminate against any one who wants to be Malay. True, only Mahathir Kutty is not part Malay (he says he is pure Malay) but people like the Tengku and Hussein Onn were fair to all races in Malaysia. mahathir Kutty had no choice but to be more Malay than Malay to be the top dog even though he put his race as 'Indian' when he applied to study in Singapore University.
Malaysia leads in other areas, too, like global warming. Mr Datuk Samy Vellu, will be unveiling his strategy to counteract rising temperature by promising subsidies for those wishing to buy air conditioners and those who cannot afford them, he wants the Govt to subsidies parasaols (umbrellas) or as we call them 'payung'. It is not hot air. He is standing for his party's elections again. A true genius!
