One plus one is two. Recognizing Bloggers?

I am moved to write on the statement made by DPM, Dato' Seri Najib that called on listening to the bloggers as a means to be closer to the people. Further, he made another statement to call on local technopreneurs to surface in order to have this country independent as far as technology is concerned. At least, a round of applause for the calls.

But get this. Rocky's Bru posted "Govt to take on bloggers", conveying that statement by DPM to the internet surfers cum bloggers and many responded in comments. Today, Malaysian Insider reports "Hishamuddin assures action against Mukhriz" on the latter's relentless call upon the president to step down.

One plus one is two! Putting these together, it is not escapable to concluding that the members of the ruling party cannot agree with each other as far as listening to the people is concerned. So much for freedom of speech to convey thoughts and ideas.

It was Hisham's keris-wielding that cost BN so many seats in the last GE. The NST accused Hisham of that sin in its front-page Editorial in defence of Pak Lah a while ago. As far as I know, Hisham didn't deny it. In fact, he admitted the keris' folly.

Now, I do believe that what Hisham did with his keris was more damaging than calls made by Mukhriz for Pak Lah to step down.

Hisham should do the honorable thing. Since his keris has been taken away from him by the party and he's not able to commit sepuku, resigning would be the next honorable thing to do.

Hisham says Ezam should start from the bottom yet his form is handed to the highest authority in the party. What Hisham says means nothing anymore to anyone. He is useless and a wasted talent. In short Hishammuddin is someone with promising political prospects for higher office, but we can no longer ignore the gap between reality and the promise. His days of riding on his family name is numbered.

Trying his luck maybe, to regain popularity as the new ones are getting the front pages and not him.
